The Power Analytics Quality system is in place to comply with nuclear safety related requirements per 10CFR50 - Appendix B and ISO-9001. Power Analytics is qualifying DesigneBase Software for Nuclear 1E safety related systems. Class 1 E is the designation for nuclear safety-related electrical equipment.
The first part, the General Quality Assurance Program, complies with IEC International QA-Standard ISO 9001, 10CFR50 Appendix B; 10CFR21 and NQA-1 (1989); and the second part, Software Development, addresses the criteria of NQA-2 Part 2.7. In addition to the above, both parts are based on ANSI/IEEE Software Engineering Standard 610.12-1990 and NATO AQAP-13 |
