EDSA Announces Corporate Expansion; Opens Eastern U.S. Operations Center
Near Research Triangle Park, N.C.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – March 12, 2009 –EDSA Micro Corp. (www.edsa.com), the leading provider of software tools for electrical power systems design and reliability management – today announced that it is establishing an operations center in Raleigh, N.C., to better serve the growing demand for its products and services in the Eastern United States. EDSA is headquartered in San Diego, Calif., and joins other leading California-based technology companies with operations in the Research Triangle Park area.

“The deployment of our innovative solutions that ensure the reliability and energy efficiency of electrical power infrastructure is gaining very fast momentum across the nation,” said Mark A. Ascolese, Chairman and CEO of EDSA. “Building an operations center near Research Triangle Park will enable us to better serve our financial data center, telecommunication NOCs, government operations, petrochemical, manufacturing and process control customers up and down the East Coast, as well as maintain closer proximity to our technology partners in the region.”

The new operations center will initially house executive, sales, engineering, and software development. EDSA has begun populating this office and anticipates aggressive hiring in all facets of its business over the coming 18 months to better serve its Eastern U.S. customers. The new operations center is located at 9208 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 120, Raleigh, NC 27615; the phone number is 919-848-6625.

“Ensuring the reliable and efficient use of energy – and minimizing the costs associated with it – is a national priority for business and government leaders alike,” said Ascolese. “Because many companies are grappling with higher energy costs and the struggling national economy, they are turning to EDSA to help them harness their energy costs, while increasing the reliability of their power systems’ infrastructure; for EDSA, that is translating to triple-digit financial growth.”

Ascolese cited three prevailing market conditions driving EDSA’s growth:

· Companies are increasingly dependent on their data centers, telecommunications networks, and other “mission-critical” operations that EDSA helps ensure run flawlessly. EDSA’s Paladin® DesignBase™ platform helps to ensure that facilities are “Perfect on Paper” before they are constructed.

· By continually comparing the design model to live, post-construction operations, EDSA’s Paladin® Live™ ensures that facilities operate precisely as they were designed – enabling companies to not only avoid the crippling costs of operational downtime, but to also help increase energy efficiency and reduce energy costs.

· With more than $100 billion in customer assets already using EDSA technology – and the breadth of customer applications growing rapidly – more and more companies are seeing how applicable EDSA solutions are to their mission-critical operations.
