EDSA, Advanced Consulting Engineering Sponsor Detroit Power Systems Workshop
 
 

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – June 14, 2007 –EDSA Micro Corporation and Advanced Consulting Engineering, Inc. today announced that the two companies will sponsor a two-day electrical power systems design workshop on August 23 and 24 at Wayne State University.

The workshop is intended for electrical power systems engineers interested in learning of the latest design methods and technologies available for modeling complex power systems. The workshop will include discussion of engineering challenges like arc flash, short circuit, and power flow.

The workshop will be led by Silviu I. Darie, PhD, EE, PE. Dr. Darie has more than 40 years experience in professional and university-level electrical engineering instruction. He had led more than 180 electrical power projects, and has authored or co-authored hundreds of technical books, student manuals, technical papers, and research projects on the subject.

The workshop will be held at: Wayne State University College of Engineering Computer Lab - Room 2359
Warren & Third Streets (northeast corner) Detroit, MI 48202

There is no charge for the event, but attendees must be licensed engineers. Enrollment is limited, so interested attendees should act quickly to reserve their place in these workshops.
