San Diego, Calif., April 18, 2013 – Power Analytics Corporation has completed a software integration and license agreement with RoviSys, a comprehensive systems integrator, manufacturing automation, information solutions and services company. RoviSys supports Paladin® software solutions, with a special competency in Paladin® Gateway™ and Paladin® DesignView™, which it seamlessly deploys in a variety of industrial applications across multiple industries.
The integration of Power Analytics software with RoviSys’ solution provides customers with visualization of industrial automation projects. The analytic and optimization engine in Paladin software performs “what-if “simulations that enable managers and operators to make fully informed decisions on what actions to take.
The RoviSys functionality will be integrated with the Paladin Gateway Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that defines interoperable services including the support for two-way communication with virtually any power device or system from any major software or hardware provider. Paladin DesignView is a real-time scientific visualization software environment and graphical user interface that is Scalable Vector Graphic/HTML 5 (SVG) based. The software allows users to easily create detailed dashboards and operator screens, providing up-to-the-millisecond detail about power infrastructure performance.
“The partnership with RoviSys is an important step for Power Analytics,” said Doug Whitmer, vice president of sales for Power Analytics. “The automation and process controls provided by RoviSys will significantly decrease implementation complexity while increasing the value of real-time power analysis provided by the Paladin Gateway architecture.”
“Coupled with Paladin Gateway and Paladin DesignView, our solution will decrease overall project costs and save time for implementation,” said Brian Polaski, RoviSys IDS manager. “Paladin DesignView dashboards and reports gives operators increased intelligence across multiple systems and facilities equipment.”
