San Diego, Calif., March 6, 2013 – Power Analytics Corporation’s Paladin® Software Suite is the winner of EC&M (Electrical Construction & Maintenance) magazine’s Product of the Year award in the software category. Paladin was selected as category winner by a panel of 12 judges — including electrical professionals representing the design/engineering, contracting, and facilities/maintenance industries selected by the EC&M editorial staff.
The judges reviewed and voted on 160 entries across 47 categories and determined Paladin to be the tops in the software category. The Paladin Software Suite is the only solution available today that can provide real-time analytical foresight and optimization for a company’s power system infrastructure. It will be featured in an upcoming EC&M online readers’ poll that will determine the recipient of the 2013 Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards.
“We are proud of the recognition our software has received for its impact on mission-critical organizations worldwide,” said Michael Nark, president and CEO of Power Analytics. “Considering that nearly 80 percent of business downtime today is caused by internal electrical and power problems, there is no doubt that today’s organizations require this type of real-time intelligence, management and control of their electrical infrastructure.”
The Paladin family of software products includes Paladin DesignBase™ 5.0, Paladin Live, Paladin Gateway™ and Paladin DesignView™. It goes beyond simple monitoring by measuring and diagnosing the operational health of an organization’s electrical network with a proven, patented process.
Power Analytics’ Paladin software was recently chosen by the U.S. Army and also selected to create and operate a cluster of microgrids at three naval bases in San Diego, Calif.
