A digital twin is defined as a digital replica of physical assets (physical twin) with processes and systems that can be used for various purposes.  A digital twin is most commonly considered for assets on a power network such as a power generation device (a generator) or other critical component but can also be a consumer of power such as a compressor or other critical device that uses the power.  Power Analytics takes the digital twin to a new level by employing a power model of the entire power network or grid.
