The Power Analytics Quality System is in place to comply with nuclear safety related requirements per 10CFR50 – Appendix B and ISO-9001. Power Analytics is qualifying DesignBase Software for Nuclear 1E safety related systems. Class 1 E is the designation for nuclear safety-related electrical equipment.
Power Analytics conducts NUPIC audits on an annual basis and has done so for 27 years, retaining compliance with NUPIC standards.
The first part, the General Quality Assurance Program, complies with IEC International QA-Standard ISO 9001, 10CFR50 Appendix B; 10CFR21 and NQA-1 (1989); and the second part, Software Development, addresses the criteria of NQA-2 Part 2.7. In addition to the above, both parts are based on ANSI/IEEE Software Engineering Standard 610.12-1990 and NATO AQAP-13.
